Events and Fundraising

The Heroes of Hope Grey Ribbon Crusade joins organizations and individuals as one united force against brain tumors. The group provides support for those affected by the disease and serves as a hub, allowing people to gather information and share resources, while providing a vehicle for fundraising.

Each organization and individual involved is working diligently to raise awareness of brain tumors and implement creative fundraising ideas for brain tumor research.

The Grey Ribbon Crusade is a centralized source for ongoing events connecting people with activities in their area or dear to their heart. We can help bring the Grey Ribbon Crusade to your town. No experience needed!

If you do not have your own not for profit organization, and wish to raise funds while offering your supporters maximum tax benefits provided by a 501c3 charitable organization, we can assist you. Our established 501c3 foundations will ensure that all contributions raised as a result of your efforts are placed into a personalized fund that is 100% dedicated and donated to the charity of your choice for the purpose you intend.

Moving Towards A Cure - Phoenix 2010
11/06/2010

Miles For Hope

On November 6, 2010, join Miles For Hope as we branch out for our first annual "Moving Towards a Cure - Phoenix!" Come walk or run with us, help increase brain tumor awareness and help in finding a cure. As with any event, participation is important, however, fundraising is a vital aspect of such an event. We do not require fundraising to participate, although it is highly encouraged. Every fundraising dollar brings us closer to a cure!

Brain tumors are currently the #1 cause of solid tumor cancer death in children under the age of 20.

It's time for change! Help find a cure for this devastating disease.

A portion of the proceeds raised from this event will benefit Phoenix Children's Hospital for brain tumor research. Support your local Children's Hospital and register for this event today!

Miles for Hope is dedicated to raising awareness, funding of cutting edge brain tumor research and clinical trials and to providing travel assistance to qualified patients. Through our work, we intend on finding not only treatments that provide a better quality of life for those suffering with brain cancer, but to find a cure for it.

Wear GRAY in MAY!

May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month

As you all know, May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month, and I wanted to make some gear to mark it as such. So, I've created designs for shirts, buttons, magnets, caps, mugs, mousepads, etc. etc. etc.

It was originally only intended for our youngest BT warriors and angels, but due to popular demand I've added designs for adult BT warriors and angels, as well.

The products are available here: http://cafepress.com/btwallofcourage ... You'll see a link on the main screen for the Adult Gear (it's also available by clicking a link at the bottom of most every other page on the site).

There is a special section featuring pictures of over 120 of our youngest BT warriors and angels.

There is gear available for Father, Mother, Husband, Wife, Survivors (Had/Have a Brain Tumor), Brother, Sister, Son, Daughter, Cousin, Grandmother, Grandfather, Uncle, Aunt, and Friend (boy/girl).

I have also included grayribboncrusade.org on all of the gear so that people can go somewhere to learn more. (wallofcourage.com is on the Kids' Gear.)

Also, for those interested, proceeds from the sale of these products will be distributed among the following:

Jessica C. Randall Memorial Scholarship Fund
Children's Brain Tumor Foundation (http://cbtf.org)
The Brain Candy Project (http://braincandyproject.org)
Jacob's Smiles (http://www.jacobssmiles.com -- site not functional yet, but I think many of you know Christine and her son, ^Jacob^.)
and, pending: Aimee's Army (http://aimeesarmy.org)

I hope you all enjoy the gear. I figure I'll be wearing gray all year long!!!! :)
